Stamford Bridge.com is very proud to have been invited to be part of the Chelsea Supporters Trust hosted Chelsea Heritage Partnership. We are a collection of like-minded and dedicated people, piecing together and publishing information concerning Chelsea FC's long and storied history since their inception in 1905.

The Database

There are currently profiles for 815 different players and 42 different managers to have played and/or managed a Competitive match for Chelsea Football Club

There are currently details of 6527 mens first-team matches in the database, of which there are:
4398 league matches

--->786 Football League Division 2 matches
--->1252 FA Premier League matches
430 FA Cup matches
305 European matches
226 League Cup matches
48 other competitive matches
1120 non-competitive matches

With huge thanks to Peter Wollaston for his many years or research and initial data, there are also details of 9094 reserve & youth matches recorded (reserves 1905-present & youth 1948 - present). Please be aware this part of the database is very much a work in progress and as such there is lots of missing information.

Now, with additional thanks to Nathan Whitehouse for his initial research and data, there are also details of 1028 womens first-team matches recorded from the period 1992 to present. There are currently profiles for 333 different womens first-team players and 9 different womens managers to have played and/or managed a competitive match for Chelsea Womens Football Club. Please be aware this part of the database is also very much a work in progress and as such there is quite a lot of missing information, espeicially, but not restricted to 1992-1998.

As far as I am aware, details for every competitive match are logged in the database, including line-ups, scorers, attendance, venue, substitution, bookings, sendings off etc. There are quite a number of non-competitive matches still to enter details for.
