Fitness Coach from 1996 to 2007


Ade was taken on by Chelsea under Ruud Gullit after the club 1st approached Linford Christie's coach Ron Rodden, looking for fitness advice. He remained at Chelsea until 2007, then after a season at Millwall, he joined Roberto Di Matteo's backroom staff at MK Dons and latterly West Brom. On Roberto's sacking at West Brom, Ade moved to work with Gianfranco Zola in the same position at Watford.

Highlights of Ade's athletics career, prior to becoming a coach, include reaching the Olympic 200m final in Los Angeles in 1984 as well as being a three-time World Indoor medallist and the 1989 European Indoor champion, also at 200m.
