From Archive.com (www.chelsealadies.com) -------------------------------- Today Chelsea beat old foe's Langford 3-1 in the FA CUP 3rd ROUND. Langford sprinted out of the traps early and found themselves 1-0 up within a minute. After the game settled, Chelsea began to apply the pressure and it finally came in the 15 minute from Heather Gravett after hard work from debutant Holly Grogan down the right flank. Chelsea took over the game and pushed Langford back deep and Heather Gravett had at least six more chances to put Chelsea into the lead. But it finally came on the 44 minute from substitute Chantelle White, who replaced Jennifer Ray on the 31st minute. The second half saw Chelsea playing some neat and tidy football and not give nothing away. Langford battled for the equaliser but it never came and Chelsea stood firm. Chelsea finally secured their place in the 4th Round draw when Heather Gravett put the ball passed Langford keeper Cabey-Gooden in the 88 minute. George Commented: "This is what the FA Cup is about.
