Full Name: Graham Cyril Rix

Rix was hired originally in 1993 as a youth team coach and despite being almost 37, registered as a player for the 1994/5 season due to an injury crisis at the club. He ended up making 4 appearances over the season, including one in the league against his former club Arsenal.
In 1996 on his appointment as manager, Ruud Gullit promoted Rix to assistant manager, a position he continued in under Gullit's successor Luca Vialli.
There was a 6-month break in his service between Mar - Sep 1999 when Rix was sentenced to a year in prison having been convicted of having underage sex with a 15-year-old girl. he served 6 months and returned to his position upon being released. Ray Wilkins was hired to take the assistant manager role in Rix's absence and Wilkins moved into a coaching position on his return.
When Vialli was sacked the following year, Rix, assisted by Wilkins, took caretaker care of the club for 2 games before Vialli's successor Claudio Ranieri was appointed and subsequently disposed of both Rix & Wilkins' services. They both left the club in November 2000
