There is a doubt over the widely publicised date of death of 27 January 1978, especially now the date of burial has been confirmed as 31 May 1978. We are awaiting confirmation from the cemetery if they have dod recorded.

DOB is also uncertain. 1939 Census states 10 Mar 1892, whilst Death register entry states 12 Mar 1892
